Edo Competition have launched today the Lamborghini Gallardo LP600/4 program which adds even more power under the hood of the Italian supercar. The Edo Lamborghini Gallardo LP600/4 outputs, as the name says, 600 hp / (411 kW) at 7.970 rpm and 572 Nm (398 ft-lb) of torque at 6845 rpm. The extra juice of the Edo Lamborghini Gallardo LP600/4 translates into a top speed of 340 km/h (212 mph) and a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 3.5 seconds. The 200 km/h mark comes in 10.1 seconds.
Now the German tuner has taken the Gallardo LP560-4 and given it what it likes to call a little “added spice”. The output of the Italian supercar has been bumped to an even 600 horsepower thanks to a new stainless steel exhaust system and an ECU tune, resulting in a claimed top speed of 211 mph. Other upgrades include an adjustable sport suspension system, 19-inch three-piece wheels, and a new front spoiler lip. You can read more details in the press release after the jump and check out the high-res gallery of photos below.
The new stainless steel high-performance exhaust system with butterfly valves is an attractive proposition. Not only is the sound level adjustable via remote, the exhaust also frees up 15 horsepower and lets the driver enjoy a whole new aural experience. As a welcome side effect, the edo exhaust system weighs 12 kg (26 lb) less than the original piece.

The suspension system meanwhile has been upgraded to a sport suspension system which is adjustable in compression and rebound damping. The edo Competition stands on 19-inch three-piece racing wheels with artificially-aged cast center-sections, hand-polished outer rims and 39 stainless steel screws. The wheels are wrapped with Dunlop Sport Maxx tires measuring at 235/35 ZR 19 at the front and 305/30 ZR 19 at the rear.
